How to Make a Horse Mini Pinata

How to Make a Horse Mini Pinata

I love western and cowboy-themed parties! I'm so happy they're trending right now, and this horse is absolutely perfect for a cowboy-themed celebration. It even has the perfect trap door, so you can easily fill it with candies and surprises. Kids love it!

Materials You'll Need

Horse piñata template (digital or kit)

White and brown crepe paper

Hot glue gun or craft glue

Scissors

Circle paper punch (or just trim by hand)

Brown cardstock (for the ears)

Black cardstock (for the eyes )

How to Make It

Build your base
Assemble the piñata structure using your template. Make sure to leave a trap door unglued,  this will be where the treats go!

Add texture with crepe
Start from the bottom, layering strips of brown crepe paper upward.

Then, switch to white crepe paper to gently layer the face.

Add facial features
Use black cardstock to cut and glue the eyes into place. Cut two small ears from brown cardstock and attach them just above the eyes.

Fill with love!
Pop in some sweets, confetti, or handwritten notes to make it extra special.
